Jody Culkin

Jody Culkin es una artista que ha mostrado sus esculturas, fotografías y piezas de nuevos medios en distintos museos y galerías , incluyendo PS 1, la Torre del Reloj, el Museo Neuberger, el Museo del Bronx,y el Coloquio Internacional de Arte Digital en La Habana, Cuba, Palazzo delle Esposizioni en Roma, Italia; Amerika Haus en Colonia, Alemania; Canterbury Festival de las Artes en Canterbury, Inglaterra. Ella recibió una beca de Artistas en Escultura de la Fundación Nueva York para las Artes, una subvención para el proyecto patrocinado por el New York State Council on the Arts, el Premio de Diseño de la Ciudad de Nueva York Departamento de Transporte, y una beca de investigación de Telecomunicaciones Interactivas de la Universidad de Nueva York Departamento. Jody Culkin is an artist who has shown her sculptures, photographs and new media pieces at museums and galleries throughout this country, including P.S 1, the Clock Tower, the Neuberger Museum, the Bronx Museum, and internationally, including IV Salon y Coloquio International de Arte Digital in Havana, Cuba; Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome Italy; Amerika Haus in Cologne, Germany; Canterbury Arts Festival in Canterbury, England. She received an Artists Fellowship in Sculpture from the New York Foundation on the Arts, a sponsored project grant from the New York State Council on the Arts, a Design Award from the New York City Department of Transportation, and a research fellowship from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Department. She is currently a Professor at CUNY’s Borough of Manhattan Community College in the Media Arts and Technology Department, where she is Deputy Chair. She has a BA from Harvard University in Visual Studies and and MPS from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Department.
