headphonica es un netlabel confuso y libre.

Es el hogar de algunos músicos inusuales, proyectos y experimentos extraños, sonidos raros, entre otros. En términos de géneros, headphonica lidia con la electrónica, tapemusic, el jazz, el avant garde, folk, experimental, el ruido, el hip hop y pop, entre otros.

headphonica se inició en 2006 como un proyecto con un enfoque más académico a sonidos lo-fi, el cual debe ser registrado a través de auriculares. después de la publicación de este recopilatorio llamado headphonica, el proyecto comenzó a crecer aún más,hasta la exploración de un netlabel. Tenemos amplía relación con la música experimental, pero también con la música pop desde los primeros días, esta aparente dicotomía se resuelve desde el punto de vista de los artistas: se trata de aclamar lo ya desarrollado, por un lado y el anhelo por la libertad musical en el otro.

headphonica está dirigido por Clemens Wegener, Enderlein Martin y Tommy Neuwirth de supervisión gráfica de Marian Reinig.

it is home to some unusual musicians, strange projects, and odd sound experiments and other. in terms of genres, headphonica is all over the board with electronica, tapemusic, jazz, avant garde, folk, experimental, noise, hip hop, and pop, among others.

headphonica started in 2006 as a project with a rather academic approach to lofi-sounds, wich ought to be recorded via headphones. after publishing this compilation called headphonica, the project started to grow further, developing as a netlabel. the explorative alignment can still be heard in the largest share of the netlabels releases, but the label also had intense relationship to pop music since the early days. this seeming dichotomy resolves in the perspective of the artists: it’s about acclaiming the already developed on the one hand and yearning for musical freedom on the other.
